We produce colourful, contemporary, fun clothing for boys & girls aged 0-7 years. 
The designs are all original, using a variety of fabrics including polar fleece, cotton jersey and hand dyed bold cotton prints. The other unique design 
element is the use of surface decoration, applying distinctive trimmings and also printed and stitched motifs. Quality is important, we endeavour to produce clothing that is practical to wear and wash, with a high standard of finish.
Sarah Bond, owner and designer, established the Lizzie Shirt label in 1992. 
The business currently operates from her work premises along Falmouth's Harbour front. The entire range is designed and produced in Cornwall.
The name 'Lizzie Shirt' originates from an eccentric local character who lived in the Falmouth area towards to the end of the 19th century. 'Lizzie Shirtie', 
a pedlar, was popular with local children, selling sweets and treats from her big basket at the town's fairs and festivals.
